How do I set up a nooked shopping widget?
Getting started with nooked is a simple 4 steps process. Choose your products, Select your widget shape and size, personalise your theme and then publish to your blog or Web page.
If you want to change or update your nooked widgets in the future, simply sign in and go to My Widgets.
Where can I put my widget?
We supportany website and blog platform. Our goal is that you can put your widgets everywhere. . In the near future we will support social networks like Facebook, MySpace and Bebo.
What kind of products can I recommend?
nooked are working with a lot of leading retailers - to provide you with the best selection of products available. We get a daily update on the latest product offers so you have the best deals for your friends. Do let us know if you want any specific retailer added to our service.
Can I sell my own stuff through nooked?
Unfortunately at the moment you can't sell your own products from your nooked widget. We hope to add this functionality in the near future - if interested in testing out our trial service, please contact us.
How do I make money from nooked?
When someone clicks on your shopping widget - you earn money for that click. This is called PPC, or Pay-Per-Clicks
We will be shortly adding in support for making money via other opportunities - CPM, or Cost-Per-Thousand Impressions, CPA - Cost per Actions and referrals. The goal is to provide you with the best possible opportunity to earn money from your recommendations.
How much do I earn?
For example if 100 friends engage your shopping widget every week - you could end up with a €1,000 - which could be useful for a rainy day. We at nooked are working to provide you with the best return on your product recommendations, but a lot depends largely on your site's traffic and content.
Does nooked require approval to join?
nooked wants to let as many shoppers to promote their favourite products and retailer. But we also need to ensure that a high level of quality and proper usage are adhered to. nooked monitors all new accounts and can revoke any accounts where terms of conditions have been broken.
How often do I get paid? What are methods of payment?
We make payments 45 days after the end of each month, if the account has a balance of at least EURO 100.00. PayPal payments typically are made first, followed by checks.
What currency does nooked pay ?
We pay in Euros. Payments are by check or through PayPal. Payments are sent anywhere in the world. Cheques will be mailed to your physical mailing address.
How frequently do my Impressions, Clicks, and Revenue statistics update?
All reporting data on Nooked is updated daily and displays by Noon GMT for the previous day's activity.
Do you have a referral program? How much does it pay?
Not at the moment - but we intend to launch one quite soon.
Can I place more than one nooked widget on my site?
At the moment you can place one nooked widget on your site.
Can I run nooked with Google AdSense?
Yes, nooked is compatible with all other ad systems.
Can I put nooked widget on my site if I'm not based in the UK?
Yes, as long as the site meets the terms of service and the retailers you select are delivering to your market. Please be aware that our terms of service does not allow ad-only sites, sites containing pornography or violent images, sites with invalid domains, and of course, click fraud.
Why isn't my widget showing up/working?
If you have a specific question or issues regarding your widgets, please check our forums, send us a note and we will do our best to address your issue.
What if i want to change my shopping widget?
You can change all your widgets - by selecting your widget in the My Widgets tab - and updating your selections
Why has nooked suspended my account?
If your account has been suspended, it has violated one of our terms of service, including click fraud. Additionally, invalid domains and non-English language sites are not allowed at present, as well as ad-only, pornographic and/or violent sites. Upon suspension or warning, an e-mail is sent with the specific reason as to why.
Does nooked work with non-UK merchants?
At the moment, our retailer partners are primarily UK based. We plan to launch international merchants soon on our platform.
