Fergus Burns - Founder and CEO
Fergus is CEO and founder of nooked. Prior to starting nooked, Fergus worked for Propylon - an XML and mobile start-up. Previous to Propylon, Fergus worked for Microsoft in both Europe and the US from 1994 to 2000.
Fergus is a computer science graduate of the University of Ulster.
John O'Shea - CTO
John defines and manages the technical implementation and roll out of the nooked platform.
Prior to joining nooked John developed web service platforms and tools for Cape Clear Software (SOA / BPEL / WS - Eclipse), S1 Corporation (financial services platform), Iona Technologies (SOA / WS - CORBA), IBM Ireland (WebSphere) and Headway Software (Java / C++ Code Analysis).
John holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from University of Limerick.

Liam Fitzgerald - Director
Liam co-founded Intuition Publishing in 1985 and served as CEO until 1997. Liam has since acted as a strategic consultant to Irish-based digital media and web companies, serving as a director with several of them. He has worked with Enterprise Ireland as a Research and Development Commercialization Evaluator and on several industry strategic reviews. He was the inaugural chairman of the eLearning CEO Forum for three years and currently serves on the Board of the National Digital Research Center.
Previous to Intuition Publishing he held executive positions in marketing and IT with the Bank of Ireland Group. Liam holds an MBA from Trinity College, Dublin
Alec Florence - Director
Alec is a successful Irish entrepreneur and angel investor. He has participated on the Enterprise Ireland mentor panel for many years, and advises leading Irish-based technology companies.
He is a member of the Irish Computer Society, The Marketing Institute and The Institute of Business Advisers.
Alec holds an MBA in International Business from the Smurfit School of Business, UCD, Dublin.
