Lots of talk on the recent Techmeme announcement on using RSS for online advertising
Couple of comments - Finally the Feed is the Ad - applause for Gabe at Techmeme for implementing this, and securing advertisers - not a new invention. CNet, Pheedo and nooked have done this before - hopefully the springboard for more activity around “the feed is the advert” meme

March 15th, 2007 at 10:12 AM It will be interesting watching the 'tug of heart' i.e. open spirit and trust/reputation v's commericalisation. You can already see some of the debates as folks figure out how to make some money in this market. Some backlash a few months back when the blog aggregators started getting more savvy and coming up with new trickle-feed money schemes. Don't see any magic answer and its just a maturity (bit like a growing teenager!) in the market My 2 (Euro) pennies! Lal
